://CORPORACT, is delighted to announce that Tribiq CMS 6.0.3, the modular, award-winning content management system powering its websites has been released, with a host of new features to support multiple languages.
Tribiq CMS Pro now adds a translations tab to the admin toolbar of sites that have two or more enabled languages. This allows users to quickly navigate between equivalent translations of a contentItem, and easily see where a translation is missing in a given language.
The 'export tools' module. This powerful module adds the ability to export an HTML page in an HTML or XML format. This file can be imported into third-party translation software tools, and is compatible with Google translator toolkit. The modified file, with its content translated into the target language, can then be re-imported into the CMS with no loss of formatting or settings within the page.
You can also overwrite visitor phrases on reusable plugins as well as wireframe plugins. This means that plugins use the core phrases of their parent module by default across, but you can override them on a local basis when you need to use ad hoc phrases.
There are "ghost" views of content Items and menu nodes. These appear when a translation in a specific language is missing. In this way, it is easy to look at a list of content Items or menu nodes in the admin back-end and see which ones are missing translations.
We now store the names of months and weekdays as visitor phrases, so that date information is displayed correctly in almost all languages.
Content and user personalisation enhancements combining with GeoIP, for example, mean you can choose to only show content to visitors from a certain country.
To better support multiple languages, the Tribiq menu and banners system has been substantially upgraded. By sharing the same menu tree between languages, moving or deleting a menu node in one language effectively moves or deletes it in all other languages. This helps keep sites' menu structures in sync across all of their languages, but doesn't prevent a site from having additional menu nodes in one language if required.
Banner titles and descriptions can now contain visitor phrases which is helpful if users want to use the same banner across several languages.
