Investor Pulse - Investor Survey

Challenge:

To enable InvestorPulse and its partners, including c2Ventures, City University and the National Business Angels Network to conduct the UK's first attitudinal business angel survey. The survey had to be customer friendly and simple to complete whilst allowing recipients a choice of formats in which to respond.

Solution:

://CORPORACT created, hosted and managed a user friendly, online survey with full statistical reporting. The online survey was accessed through dedicated partner-branded front-ends, thus allowing each constituent organisation the opportunity to 'own and market' to its own members. The responses from all the partner sites then fed into an adaptive central database - initial participant responses determined subsequent relevant questions - thus ensuring a high level of customisation and survey completion.

The survey invitation was distributed via email and print to an audience of around 45,000 advisors and investors. Recipients had the option to respond via email attachment, post, fax or (for the vast majority) complete the survey online.

Online survey results were available within half an hour of the close of the survey and were capable of being interrogated and analysed almost immediately which meant that the print and distribution cycle was shortened considerably.

The resulting report was available for download from c2Ventures communications platform and received national coverage in, among others, the Daily Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday and Investors Chronicle. It was downloaded over 5000 times.

Client Comment:

"Our challenge was to reach and secure participation from a time poor audience. Using the ://CORPORACT solution, we were able to offer a more customer friendly, effective service at lower cost than a traditional paper based survey. We reached this audience at home and work with a simple response mechanism that greatly aided participation and response. The survey results have enabled our partners and ourselves to make some valuable decisions about our customers and our market." - (Managing Director, InvestorPulse)
